The Runoff Election Day has been moved to Tuesday, July 14th! Polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

  • Absentee Voting Important Steps (Any Alabama voter can apply for an absentee ballot, but keep in mind that by completing these steps you will not be able to vote in person on July 14. You will be required to vote by Absentee instead.)

    • STEP 1: Download and print this Application for Absentee Ballot here.

    • STEP 2: Complete the Application.

      • According to, "Secretary of State John Merrill has advised voters who don’t want to vote in person because of concerns about COVID-19 to check the box that says, 'I have a physical illness or infirmity which prevents my attendance at the polls.'").

    • STEP 3: Return your completed Application by mail to your county's Absentee Election Manager.
